The tribe that poisons itself (an alagorical tale)

From Natural News June 13th 2017

Scientists discover nearly-extinct ancient tribe that ritually poisons its own food and trashes its ecosystems (but there’s a catch)
Scientists have stumbled upon an astonishing discovery of an ancient tribe living on a remote Pacific island that ritually poisons its own food and trashes its food-producing ecosystems.

According to Dr. Eugene Navaroski from the Technical Institute of Ancient People, this nearly extinct tribe was discovered to engage in the most astonishing self-destructive behaviors:
The tribe has a rudimentary monetary exchange system based on clam shells which are used in barter.
The elders of the tribe have created revenue streams where they collect clam shells in exchange for toxic chemicals harvested from poison plants. These chemicals are required to be sprayed on all foods consumed by the tribe and are said to “ward off evil pests.”

The tribe suffers from very high rates of cancer, liver disorders and brain disorders due to the routine consumption of poisons that are added to the foods (in order to make the elders wealthy with clam shells).

The poisons added to the food supply survive human digestion and are urinated out of the body where they poison the local ecosystems, causing widespread ecological toxicity and mass animal die-offs.

The ecological toxicity is causing an island-wide food supply collapse, which the elders blame on “evil pest spirits,” thereby justifying their mandate that toxic poisons must be added to all foods in order to scare away the evil pests.

Scientists have observed that as disease spreads across the tribe and ecological damage destroys the sustainability of the food supply, the elders are sitting on massive mounds of clam shells and believe they are “rich.”

The tribe has been dubbed the “Suicide Tribe” by scientists who say they’ve never witnessed such shortsighted, self-destructive behavior in human societies before.

But wait: YOU are part of this tribe, too!

Now, allow me to pull back the veil on this allegory and reveal the greater truth: There is no such tribe on a remote Pacific island. There is no “Technical Institute of Ancient People” and Dr. Eugene Navaroski is a fictional name. In truth, the “tribe” is modern Western civilization which routinely poisons its entire food supply with pesticides and herbicides in order to make certain corporations “rich.”
The “elders” are the pesticide corporations like Monsanto, Bayer and DuPont who collect profits from the mass poisoning of the food, thinking they are “rich” corporations while their own children are dying from cancer and their lands are being decimated for generations to come.
The suicide tribe is us! You are part of it. Every time you buy non-organic products are the grocery store, you are financially subsidizing this suicide cult and contributing to the destruction of the ecosystem.
Earth is the “island.” And we are destroying it with tens of millions of pounds of toxic chemicals sprayed on our lands and food every year. We are poisoning ourselves while poisoning the planet, and the global food supply is collapsing while our children are stricken with cancer, obesity, neurological disorders and diabetes.
Everyday Americans are eating deadly poison in their food while thinking their 401K investment retirement funds are “growing wealth” because they are invested in shares of Monsanto or DuPont. They think they’re getting rich while they’re actually poisoning their world for generations to come. Meanwhile, media outlets push the poison in the name of “science,” collecting money from wealthy corporate advertisers to push more poison propaganda onto the world, claiming our growing population needs more pesticides, more glyphosate and more GMOs to “feed the world.”
Their piles of clam shells are growing larger and larger while the food-producing soils of our world grow smaller and smaller. Our people are dying, our soils are being poisoned, aquatic ecosystems are collapsing and yet corporate executives think they are “wealthy.”
Welcome to the suicide cult of modern human civilization, where people buy and eat poison every single day, thinking they are “safe” from pests while they are dying of cancer and destroying their world.

Organic foods backed by landmark report – warning that agricultural pesticides far more dangerous than was thought.

The review examines scientific evidence about the impact of organic food on human health.
Laura Donnelly, health editor  – Daily Telegraph

Consumers should consider going organic because pesticides on foods are far more dangerous than was thought, causing damage to the human brain, a major study suggests.

The research, published by the European Parliament, warns of the “very high costs” of current levels of exposure to pesticides – especially for children and pregnant women.
It could result in new limits on pesticide levels or changes to labelling of foodstuffs, under EU laws which require the UK to review its policies by next year.
The report says low level exposure to pesticides could harm children’s brain development CREDIT: ALAMY
The landmark study suggests that the damage caused by pesticides across the EU amounts to at least £125bn a year, based on the loss of lifetime income from such damage.

The report warns of increasing evidence that residues from insecticides are damaging the brain, and reducing the IQ of the population. And it raises concerns that the chemicals could also cause cancer and damage to the reproductive system.
The research, commissioned by the European Parliament, is a review of existing scientific evidence about the impact of organic food on human health.
At least 100 different pesticides are known to cause adverse neurological effects in adults
European Parliament report

It says previous attempts to assess the impact of pesticides have disregarded too much of the research, raising concerns that regulation of insecticides has been inadequate.

The study was carried out by the parliament’s Scientific Foresight Unit, led by the Swedish University of Agricultural Scientists.
“At least 100 different pesticides are known to cause adverse neurological effects in adults, and all of these substances must therefore be suspected of being capable of damaging developing brains as well,” the report states.
“Such adverse effects are likely to be lasting and one main outcome is cognitive deficits, often expressed in terms of losses of IQ points. The combined evidence suggests that current exposures to certain pesticides in the EU may cost at least € 125 billion per year, as calculated from the loss of lifetime income due to the lower IQs associated with prenatal exposure.”
It goes on to describe the calculation as “almost certainly” an underestimate as it does not consider the possible contribution made by pesticides to conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, diabetes and certain types of cancer.
The researchers recommend limiting exposure to non-organic fruit and vegetables – and say particular care should be taken by pregnant women and children.
Several practices in organic agriculture, in particular the low use of pesticides and antibiotics, offer benefits for human health
Professor Axel Mie

“The evidence reviewed in this report shows that a decreased exposure from the general population is desirable from a human health perspective in light of the findings from epidemiological studies that indicate very high costs of current levels of pesticide exposures,” the report says.

Previous attempts to assess the risks have not taken proper account of epidemiological studies, which look at the health of whole populations, instead of just limiting themselves to scientific trials, it suggests.
“Of major concern, these risk assessments disregard evidence from epidemiological studies that show negative effects of low-level exposure to organophosphate insecticides on children’s cognitive development, despite the high costs of IQ losses to society,” it states.
And it raises concerns that risk assessment of pesticides is inadequate, failing to properly examine any increased risk of cancer, as well as impacts on the body’s hormones and nervous system.

“There are concerns that this risk assessment is inadequate at addressing mixed exposures, specifically for carcinogenic effects as well as endocrine-disrupting effects and neurotoxicity. Furthermore, there are concerns that test protocols lag behind independent science studies from independent science, are not fully considered and data gaps are accepted too readily,” the authors warn.

Lead author, Assistant Professor Axel Mie said: “Several practices in organic agriculture, in particular the low use of pesticides and antibiotics, offer benefits for human health”.
“Policymakers should support the use of such practices and their introduction in conventional agriculture, and make sure that organic agriculture continues to serve as a laboratory for the development of future healthy food systems.”
Under an EU Directive on the sustainable use of pesticides, member states are required to public a national plan to reduce risks from pesticides every five years, with the UK required to update its restrictions by 2018.
US studies have shown women’s exposure to pesticides during pregnancy, measured through urine samples, were associated with negative impacts on their children’s IQ and neurobehavioral development. A study looking at structural brain growth found the grey matter was thinner in children whose mothers had high exposure to organophosphates, which are used widely in pesticides.
Peter Melchett, Soil Association policy director said: “This report is great for organic farmers and everyone who eats organic food. Organic food sales have been growing strongly for five years, and a key reason that people buy organic food sales is that they feel it is better for them and their family – that is why more than half the baby food sold in the UK is organic. This new, independent, scientific review confirms people are right.”
Dr Chris Hartfield, senior regulatory affairs adviser at the National Farmers Union, said: “ Pesticides are among the most stringently regulated products in the world, with rigorous independent safety assessments and scientific studies carried out to ensure that any residues that remain on food pose no risk to people. It is important to point out that this European Parliament report makes it quite clear that our understanding in these areas is limited, the evidence is not conclusive, and the significance of the findings for public safety is unclear.”

Monsanto tried to hide evidence that Glyphosate (in Roundup weed killer) causes cancer

(Natural News) Court documents released on March 13th show that Monsanto colluded with the EPA to bury scientific evidence linking its glyphosate product (RoundUp) to cancer in humans (specifically, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma).

Glyphosate.news has published the full text of the court document “Motion to Compel Deposition of Jess Rowland.”

Also published on Glyphosate.news is this heartbreaking letter from a dying EPA scientist begging her colleagues to stop lying about the dangers of glyphosate.

Continuing with the full disclosure of these court documents — originally acquired by U.S. Right to Know — Glyphosate.news has now published the full text of the “Third-Party Discovery and Pending Motions to Seal” document.

Some of the more interesting highlights from this document include these passages:

Monsanto has trumpeted reports generated by the Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) concluding that glyphosate is not hazardous… In this phase, which is limited to “general causation,” the Court will decide only whether there is sufficient admissible evidence that glyphosate and/or Roundup is capable of causing cancer (specifically, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) in humans.

Glyphosate in ‘Roundup’ weedkiller is ubiquitous in conventionally produced foods and beverages – worldwide!

My partner and I are becoming stricter by the day. We are aware of the enormous amount of this poison being dumped on our food-growing land and into the water systems. ALL conventional food is suspect and I recommend a diet made up totally of organic produce.
Our local Tesco Extra is brilliant in that I can obtain everything I need organically and local farmers markets have plenty of organic foods. We now have two organic eateries in town! And a local organic brewery!
The long term effects of this poison must rank up there with the inclusion of Fluoride in some of the UK water systems. Basically we are under attack on multiple levels but once we become aware of the threat it is at least possible to ameliorate the consequences by buying the best we can. Organic products cost a lot more but they contain far more nutrients and give the body what it needs thus we don’t always need so much. And we feel so much better!
Below is the relevant article from Natural News. Yes, its from the US but Roundup is everywhere here too and showing up in the urine of most Europeans.
Brand name processed foods found laced with glyphosate weed killer include Kellog’s Cornflakes, a staple breakfast cereal given to children. In the study linked below you will find a list of problems building up for our children due to Roundup.
I am calling for a total, immediate ban on this dangerous poison.

(Natural News) Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide and many other commercially available weed killers. Due to the widespread adoption of genetically modified (GM) crops, glyphosate has become the most commonly used weed killer in the conventional farming industry. GM glyphosate-resistant crops are now grown on more than 175 million acres in the United States and more than 440 million acres worldwide. Each year, more than 300 million pounds of glyphosate-based herbicides are sprayed on American food crops, lawns, and gardens.

Recently, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) declared glyphosate as a “probable carcinogen.” As more health risks associated with glyphosate exposure start to emerge, the European Union remains uncertain whether it will renew its authorization of glyphosate in commercial products in Europe.

Furthermore, recent safety testing has shown that glyphosate residues can cause harm to human health, even at ultra-low levels. While the evidence is clear, the U.S. authorities, unfortunately, keep allowing this dangerous toxin to end up in our food chain at worrying levels. Safety testing of glyphosate residues in Roundup-sprayed crops is often ignored and unreliable.

While Monsanto has continuously claimed that Roundup is harmless to our health, multiple studies are painting a different picture. Regular exposure to glyphosate has been linked to chronic conditions such as autism, Crohn’s disease, allergies, depression, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and infertility. Glyphosate found in many processed foods

Anresco Laboratories in San Francisco, an FDA-registered food safety lab, recently conducted their own research to see whether glyphosate can be found in commonly consumed processed foods. And their tests revealed the worst. Previous research has shown that glyphosate or glyphosate residues of only 0.05 parts per billion (ppb) can cause damage to at least 4,000 genes, while 10 ppb may cause serious health effects, such as kidney and liver damage. Anresco’s results, however, indicated that some of the tested foods had up to 1,000 times that amount.

The testing and analysis were requested by Food Democracy Now! and The Detox Project, who bundled the results in a 29-page report called “Glyphosate: UNSAFE ON ANY PLATE.” According to the report, U.S. regulators currently allow a very high level of daily glyphosate residues in our food. The authors hope their report can serve as a strong wake-up call for all Americans to reconsider their consumption of some of their favorite processed foods.

Furthermore, Food Democracy Now! has called for a federal investigation into the damaging effects of glyphosate and the relationships between the industry and the regulators that allow these toxins to end up in our food chain.

Below you’ll find an overview of common brand names and the amount of glyphosate that was found in some of their products, with General Mills Cheerios topping the list with an astonishing 1,125.3 ppb.

Chart source: Food Democrazy Now! – Glyphosate: UNSAFE ON ANY PLATE.

To steer your family clear of glyphosate-tainted foods, eliminate all processed foods from your daily diet. Always opt for whole organic foods, locally or homegrown if possible. Only then you can be absolutely sure that you are feeding your family a healthy, toxin-free diet.

Beware of ‘Roundup’ – Extreme genetic disruption in your garden

There are SO many lies, deceptions, hoaxes, disinformation outlets and generally false versions of reality that most of us have given up – so much effort is required on a daily basis to keep the worst and most degenerative environmental hazadous materials at a safe distance that we almost are ovrwhelmed. perhaps that is part of the agenda – part of the dumbing down of intelligence , our inate curiosity and instinctive intelligence so that we surrender the fight and allow these toxic substances to be marketed as safe and actually good for us. I personally havnt given up. I love to think for myself and formulate responses that keep me free, fully aware, awake and alive.

To achieve this state that should be natural and always in place, we need to be vigilant and constantly monitoring the story we are being told. Be conscious of the potential to obfuscate the truth and spin the narrative to give us a very distorted version of the actual situation and its inheritant and potential dangers. I live to, in an increasingly exausted fashion, to expose the blatent falsehoods and help those that I love to see the truth and then make informed choices based on real information.

Thus I present these two articles that delve into the Roundup/Monsanto story and hope that readers will research deeper and start to make the relevent and needed changes. This will allow each person to live on a daily basis without inbibing/eating any product containing Glyphosate (the main engredient of Roundup herbicide.)

Mainstream media is completely silent on this story, so it is up to you to share the findings of this important research with everyone you know.

New testing conducted by an FDA-registered food safety lab found alarming levels of the chemical glyphosate (known as Monsanto’s Roundup weed-killer) in several very common foods. This independent research reveals that many popular foods have over 1000 times the glyphosate levels that have been established to be harmful.

“With the widespread increase in glyphosate use over the past 20 years and the fact that independent science has confirmed low level exposure to Roundup causes liver and kidney damage at only 0.05 ppb glyphosate equivalent, as reflected by changes in function of over 4000 genes, the American public should be concerned about glyphosate residues on their food.

Additional research points to harmful impacts at levels between 10 ppb and 700 ppb. Considering these shocking new scientific test results, regulators must take the below findings into account during any reauthorization of glyphosate.” ~ Glyphosate: Unsafe on Any Plate

Below are two images that show food testing results published by Food Democracy Now! and The Detox Project, which commissioned the research.

Full laboratory reports for this food testing can be found here. A searchable database of results can be found here.

It is no surprise that Monsanto does not want the public to know about these food safety test results. They pay-off mainstream media outlets and regulatory agencies, keeping the media silent when independent research such as this is published, so they can continue making billions from selling glyphosate.

This new research is only supplement to numerous other independent studies that basically show that Monsanto is poisoning us with glyphosate and the government is doing nothing to stop it. It is up to each person who sees this story to share it and help others realize that Monsanto is poisoning our food.

And here -Todays offering from Jon Rappaport- a very well respected journalist. The Government agencies tasked with protecting our health are in the pockets of the vested interests – the companies/corporation that they are tasked to oversee. Thus Roundup – very dangerous anti-depressents and vaccines, to name a few have been allowed to become part of the environment. Time to wake up and stop this chemical onslaught by whatever means possible.

So  here he is!
Jon RappoportSome of the greatest illusions are sitting out in the open. They are bypassed for two reasons. People refuse to believe they are illusions, despite the abundant evidence; and the professionals dedicated to upholding the illusions continue their work as if nothing at all has been exposed.

Medical journalists in the mainstream rely completely on studies published in prestigious journals.

This the rock. This is the science.
This is also the source of doctors’ authoritarian and arrogant advice to patients.
“Studies show…”
Well, that wraps it up. Nothing else to prove. The studies in the journals are the final word.
Medical reporters base their entire careers on these published reports.
But what if higher authorities contradicted all these studies? What if they scrutinized more studies than any reporter or doctor possibly could…and came to a shocking and opposite conclusion?
This very thing has happened. And the conclusions have been published. But medical reporters ignore them and go their merry way, as if a vast pillar of modern medicine is still intact…when it isn’t, when it has been decimated.
Buckle up.
Let us begin with a statement made by Dr. Marcia Angell, the former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine, perhaps the most prestigious medical journal in the world—a journal that routinely vets and prints thousands of medical studies:
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” -Marcia Angell, MD, The New York Review of Books, January 15, 2009
You might want to read that statement several times, to savor its full impact. Then proceed to this next one, penned by the editor of The Lancet, another elite and time-honored medical journal that publishes medical studies:
Richard Horton, editor-in-chief, The Lancet, in The Lancet, 11 April, 2015, Vol 385, “Offline: What is medicine’s 5 sigma?”
“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness…
“The apparent endemicity of bad research behaviour is alarming. In their quest for telling a compelling story, scientists too often sculpt data to fit their preferred theory of the world. Or they retrofit hypotheses to fit their data. Journal editors deserve their fair share of criticism too. We aid and abet the worst behaviours. Our acquiescence to the impact factor fuels an unhealthy competition to win a place in a select few journals. Our love of ‘significance’ pollutes the literature with many a statistical fairy-tale…Journals are not the only miscreants. Universities are in a perpetual struggle for money and talent…”
Still standing? Here are several more statements. They are devastating.
The NY Review of Books (May 12, 2011), Helen Epstein, “Flu Warning: Beware the Drug Companies”:
“Six years ago, John Ioannidis, a professor of epidemiology at the University of Ioannina School of Medicine in Greece, found that nearly half of published articles in scientific journals contained findings that were false, in the sense that independent researchers couldn’t replicate them. The problem is particularly widespread in medical research, where peer-reviewed articles in medical journals can be crucial in influencing multimillion- and sometimes multibillion-dollar spending decisions. It would be surprising if conflicts of interest did not sometimes compromise editorial neutrality, and in the case of medical research, the sources of bias are obvious. Most medical journals receive half or more of their income from pharmaceutical company advertising and reprint orders, and dozens of others [journals] are owned by companies like Wolters Kluwer, a medical publisher that also provides marketing services to the pharmaceutical industry.”
Here’s another quote from the same article:
“The FDA also relies increasingly upon fees and other payments from the pharmaceutical companies whose products the agency is supposed to regulate. This could contribute to the growing number of scandals in which the dangers of widely prescribed drugs have been discovered too late. Last year, GlaxoSmithKline’s diabetes drug Avandia was linked to thousands of heart attacks, and earlier in the decade, the company’s antidepressant Paxil was discovered to exacerbate the risk of suicide in young people. Merck’s painkiller Vioxx was also linked to thousands of heart disease deaths. In each case, the scientific literature gave little hint of these dangers. The companies have agreed to pay settlements in class action lawsuits amounting to far less than the profits the drugs earned on the market. These precedents could be creating incentives for reduced vigilance concerning the side effects of prescription drugs in general.”
Also from the NY Review of Books, here are two more quotes from Marcia Angell, former editor-in-chief of The New England Journal of Medicine (“Drug Companies and Doctors: A Story of Corruption”):
“Consider the clinical trials by which drugs are tested in human subjects. Before a new drug can enter the market, its manufacturer must sponsor clinical trials to show the Food and Drug Administration that the drug is safe and effective, usually as compared with a placebo or dummy pill. The results of all the (there may be many) are submitted to the FDA, and if one or two trials are positive-that is, they show effectiveness without serious risk-the drug is usually approved, even if all the other trials are negative.”
Here is another Angell statement:
“In view of this control and the conflicts of interest that permeate the enterprise, it is not surprising that industry-sponsored trials published in medical journals consistently favor sponsors’ drugs-largely because negative results are not published, positive results are repeatedly published in slightly different forms, and a positive spin is put on even negative results. A review of seventy-four clinical trials of antidepressants, for example, found that thirty-seven of thirty-eight positive studies were published. But of the thirty-six negative studies, thirty-three were either not published or published in a form that conveyed a positive outcome.”
If you have the patience to read and re-read these statements, you’ll see they are marking out a scandal of scandals—the entirety of medical literature is a pipeline for deep fraud.
Citing with confidence a study on a drug, for example, would carry no more weight than an article about a celebrity in a gossip rag.
But medical reporters must pretend their sources are correct. It’s their job. If they reject published studies, they have nothing left—except to expose the giant scandal I’m outlining in this article. Biting the hand that feeds them would put them out of work. They’d end up writing about picnics for some local paper—if they were lucky.
However, that’s not my problem or yours. It’s theirs. They chose their profession.
There is a vast amount of work to do and its up to us! – ed

Agrochemicals and the cesspool of corruption

Glyphosate has entered the food chain in an unremitting and unending fashion. It is showing up in the urine of 97% of European adults – It was, until recently, declared by the WHO as a ‘probable carcinogen’. Just to make it real easy to give you and your family cancer it is heavily promoted in almost every garden center in small one gallon containers with its own integrated pressure sprayer!
ALL our food which is not from an organic source is in danger of becoming contaminated with this deadly poison and it just gets more ubiquitous on a daily basis.  Time to get very angry with these diabolical companies – especially Monsanto and its new parent company Bayer.
As you all may know by now I am nearly 100% organic.

(RINF) – In her recent open letter to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), campaigner Dr Rosemary Mason documents what amounts to a cesspool of corruption surrounding sections of the agrochemicals industry and the regulation of glyphosate (as found in Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup).

As with all her previous ‘open letters’ to officials, Mason cites ample sources to support her arguments and claims, not least those about the health- and environment-damaging impacts of glyphosate, a highly financially lucrative product for Monsanto. Readers may access these sources by consulting her original 15-page letter to the EPA here: open-letter-to-us-environmental-protection-agency-about-glyphosate-and-the-international-monsanto-tribunal
